Napoli are also interested but his box-to-box style is clearly something which appeals to Jurgen Klopp. 11 Left back: Jonas Hector – A reliable figure at full-back for Cologne, the Reds have been heavily linked with his signature. He may cost a few bob but the Bundesliga star and German international may well be worth it. 11 11 11 Attacking midfield: Roberto Firmino – The Brazilian got better as the season went on, following his move from Hoffenheim, and will be key again for the Reds. Right back: Nathaniel Clyne – The ex-Southampton star has had a steady campaign with the Reds, there’s no reason to ditch him and he could yet improve too. Centre midfield: James Milner – An upturn in form from January onwards should mean his place at Anfield is safe for the foreseeable future. Handsome German shot-stopper Karius is set to keep clean sheets and melt some hearts on Merseyside next season. 11 11 Centre back: Joel Matip – A free transfer, the Cameroonian is likely to be a starter for Klopp after being rated as Schalke’s best centre-back last season. 11 Attacking midfield: Philippe Coutinho – Interest is high in the Brazilian but Liverpool will do all they can to hold onto their midfield magician. 11 Centre back: Mamadou Sakho – Although, he’s had his issues, Liverpool may well keep faith in the Frenchman next season. If he doesn’t up his game he could soon find himself on the way out though.
